TENSE TK30S - Current transformer

Product description

The TENSE TK30S (100/5) current transformer is used to convert high current from the power part of the electrical circuit into a standardized secondary current suitable for measuring, control and protection equipment.

It is used for indirect AC current measurement in low-voltage installations and serves as an interface between the power circuit and measuring devices such as current meters, power meters, monitoring modules or protection relays.

The through-core design allows for installation without conductor breakage - the cable simply slides through the window. This ensures fast, safe and economical installation.

Design and materials

The current transformer casing is made of self-extinguishing, heat-resistant plastic with high mechanical strength.

The transformer core is made of a low-loss ferromagnetic alloy, which ensures stable and accurate transmission even under varying loads.

The secondary winding terminals are equipped with a protective cover to increase the safety of the connection.
Proper installation minimizes the risk of short circuits or malfunctions.
