TENSE RGT-12E reactive power regulator is a fully automatic and high-precision regulator designed for optimal control of compensation stages in power systems. With digital measurement, intelligent algorithms and graphic LCD display, it ensures stable power factor, efficient reactive power regulation and protection of compensation equipment.

Main features and functions

Automatic recognition of compensation levels

The controller configures itself after switching on:

• Automatically detects the size of the connected capacitor stages

• it is also possible to enter parameters manually

• the system constantly checks the status of each stage

Intelligent switching control

The controller turns the stages on and off by:

• achieve a stable power factor with a minimum number of switching operations

• the individual stages should be loaded evenly

• capacitors with the lowest residual charge should be preferred

• the status of each stage is checked simultaneously (failure, power change, removal and replacement).

TCR (Thyristor Switched Reactor) support

The controller enables compensation control with thyristor-switched reactors, which is ideal for:
