Use and operating principle of the device

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. When the wiring is complete, turn on the power. After turning on, the display will show the set values ​​for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" control to set the overcurrent value. The set value is displayed on the left display.
4. Use the "t" control to set the delay time. The set value is also shown on the left display.

When turning on the device:
- The relay turns on, the output contact switches to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator light turns on.
- If the current exceeds the overcurrent setpoint (A>), the device starts to count down the delay time and the ERR indicator light lights up.
- After the set time has elapsed, the relay turns off, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator light goes out.

Description

The TRM-200 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect devices when the maximum allowable current is exceeded.
It has programmable switching range, delay time and reset time settings.
There are 3 ways to return to operating mode - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset methods:

- Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, the device must be reset by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.
- Semi-automatic mode: The system automatically resets three times after an overcurrent protection fault, and then waits for a manual reset in the event of the next fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.
- Automatic mode: The system automatically resets after every overcurrent fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.

Note: To change the mode, press and hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding LED indicator will light up.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the highest and lowest phase current exceeds 50%, the device enters asymmetry fault mode within 2 seconds.
(This prevents damage to the system in the event of a phase failure while the motor is running).

During an asymmetry error:
- The display group of the two phases causing the error flashes and the ERR indicator light is on.
- To return from asymmetry fault mode, the device must be reset manually.
