Principal Electric Company introduces a new product line: cam-controlled package switches manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas started its operations in Istanbul in 1982. It has been bringing innovative solutions to the cam switch market for 40 years and has successfully exported its products to 20 different countries.

Cam switches are designed for:

• control of mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, changing the connection of alternating current motor windings (star-delta), changing the direction of rotation;
• control and signaling in operational circuits;
• ensuring the switching of heating devices;
• switching on and off the drive of sectionalizing mechanisms of transformer stations.

Our new rotary switches offer a wide range of options for different pole numbers and different rated currents.

You can select the switch according to its purpose and the technical characteristics of the circuit.

For example, to turn on and off the line load, select the "0-1" scheme, and to switch to a parallel line (reverse load, backup source) - "1-2" or "1-0-2". To switch between different operating modes of the device (normal speed, heating temperature), the "0-1-2-3" scheme is required. In addition, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter, or a "star/delta" switch.
