TENSE TRM-12 digital thermal relays are designed to protect loads from high-current damage .
They allow you to set the overcurrent, fault delay time and operating mode .

They have an internal current transformer and a 3×3 digit LED display for clear monitoring of operation.

Operating principle

• When the power supply is connected, the relay turns on and activates the output contact, the OUT indicator lights up.

• When the set overcurrent value is exceeded, the delay time countdown begins and the ERR indicator lights up.

• When the time expires, the relay turns off, the output contact switches and OUT goes out.

• The relay resets automatically or manually depending on the selected mode:

  • Manual: manual reset is required after an error.

  • Semi-automatic: automatic reset 3 times, then manual reset.

  • Automatic: automatic reset on all errors .

50% asymmetry

• If the difference between the highest and lowest phase current exceeds 50%, the relay enters asymmetry fault mode.

• The error is indicated by flashing indicators and the ERR indicator.

• A manual reset is required to return.

• Current below 2 A is not monitored.
